The Ecological Reserve Corchito (10 minutes from The Mayan Gypsy)

El Corchito is a quiet beautiful reserve that is considered one of the most important ecological reserves of the coast. It is a paradise for nature lovers with a wide variety of plants, birds, mangroves, fresh water cenotes, gulls and even flamingos. 

You can access it easily from Progeso, via an inexpensive 5 minute boat ride to the little island with palapas, walking trails and the chance to swim in the springs and admire nature.
